Oh mom,

Yo this week has been exciting but the worst at the same time! haha I was super super sick. I think i ate something bad that my body did not like so we stayed in a day and ever since my stomach just does not feel good. But anyways let me tell you about the good part. soooooo we decided that we were going to walk with our investigators to church on Saturday to give them a tour of the chapel before Sunday hoping that they would be a little more comfortable. Then after the tour we got together with some ward members and played soccer and the investigators really liked it!!! They showed up! haha We had 6 legit investigators at church on Sunday and it was awesome! One of them couldn’t show because he went too hard playing soccer the day before so he didn’t come hahah i thought that was a good enough excuse. Anyways at church, the ward is splitting into a ward and a branch! I’m super exciting for the growth. We will have to cover both units which is kinda hectic.  Especially if it turns out that they are at the same time. i hoping for some more missionaries! The next exciting news is my comp is leaving and i will be training...again. i have a posterity now! It’s so exciting! I’m really excited about it. Sadly, Elder Lane is getting transferred. i thought we were going to stay together until he left but sadly he is leaving! It was a hectic week but it all payed off when we had an amazing sacrament meeting!

love you

April 16, 2018

This week we taught so many people!!!!!! Man i cant believe how many lessons we had, like an average of 5 a day! The bad part is they all committed to come to church... ya not a single one came. Ahhh it’s so frustrating! Now i just hope we can stay busy in the right way with the right people!

Let me tell you of a tender mercy. It was my dream to build a shack for someone it SA, well that dream never came true but i got to tear one down this week. That’s close enough. One of our less actives wanted us to help him way early in the morning so we walked up to this township way early and people are looking at us funny. Then we start tearing down this shack..... starting with the roof. Ok if you were wonder tin is not very durable to step on. As i got up to the top and started to take out some nails i was careful to step on the small wood beams underneath the tin roof but i couldn’t see them. I got like the whole roof done except for one last sheet of tin and as i was taking that out i made a wrong step and just plummeted to my death. (so i thought) i also had a crow bar in my hand. Well when i was falling, only God know where that crow bar went. But wait this is the amazing part, i landed on my feet! It’s like i had angel wings man. Seriously, I have no idea how i landed on my feet! i thought for sure i was done for! hahah The less active guy saw the whole thing and was just amazed also! It was only maybe 8 feet from my feet to the floor when i was standing so not super tall but still can’t believe i made it! Ok now i can tell you where the crow bar went.... ya it accidentally hit someone in the face....oops. What a tender mercy though! Don’t worry mom, I’m totally safe. Another good thing that came out of it was the less active came to church for like the first time in forever!

love you,

April 9, 2018

Ok, I’m making this one stout!

My fav conference talk- Dallin H. Oaks: "it’s the 1000 of small decisions we make each day that make up the character of a man not just 1 big decision."

I had a super good week. We found like 10 new investigators. The thing is, none of them are going to progress sooo got to keep finding! We have people on date but probably only 3 serious ones. They have potential, we have just go to get them to church every week! We stay busy but the thing is there is not fruit in our efforts! It’s kinda frustrating but i guess that is how it goes here.

I played soccer today with my companion. He’s pretty good.

I had 2 tender mercies this last Pday. We went to these caves that i went to a year ago and i was the only one who knew how to get through. Long story short is totally got lost in the dark and had no idea where to go but thankfully some how we got totally turned around and ended up coming out of the entrance. I have no idea how that happened! The other tender mercy was me coming to the realization of even though i might have a frustrating companion, it’s all for the better. If i didn’t have him then i wouldn’t become more Christ like as i would if i had a chill companion so I’m very grateful and going to try my best. Also, the area is doing awesome so i would not change a thing!

Love you
